Abstract


Moral and aesthetic realm of harmony is the highest pursuit and form of the aesthetic theory of Wang Yangming’s philosophical system, which is decided by the unique connotation of Yangming’s aesthetics. The conscience is the ontological gist of the aesthetics of Wang Yangming’s philosophical system which takes on the dual character-universal character and individual character. The dual nature of conscience is the springboard to understand the aesthetic theory of Wang Yangming’s philosophical system and under its stipulation Wang Yangming’s aesthetics boasts the feature of moral and aesthetic realm of harmony and a new humanistic spirit. And all these have given out the general feature of Yangming’s theory of aesthetics. Meanwhile, the connection between subjects and objects of Yangming’s aesthetics is that mind experiences and changes with creature. The dual nature of conscience results in that the Gong-Fu of Practice of Conscience is deployed from the two aspects: the mind-Li and mind-things. And in this term, the connection between subjects and objects is embodied within the purification of mind and harmonization of mind and things. And it is rightly due to this that the spiritual realm changes from natural state to awareness state in the Gong-Fu process of practice of conscience. The current spiritual realm is the awareness’ conscience that is a realm of three forms of morality and aesthetics-Ren realm, Cheng realm and Le realm, boasting their own specific characteristics, melting with each other and making Le realm the highest pursuit.
