The Research on Environment-Friendly Nickel Stripper and Its Recycle Regenerative Technics

Aimed at the disadvantage "high pollution of environment, high consumption of resource" of traditional nickel stripper, a kind of environment-friendly nickel stripper that could be regenerated and recycled was designed in this thesis according to the principle of environment-friendly, resourse-recovery, regeneration and recycle, it was made up of sodium 3-nitrobenzene sulfonate as oxidizing agent, glutamic acid as complexing agent and glucon-8-lactone as corrosion inhibitor. By research of this new nickel stripper, the application of this environment-friendly nickel stripper would instead of the traditional nickel stripper.The content and method of this research were as follows:(1)After the main content of this nickel stripper had been determinated, the apt concentration of every ingredient was determinated by single factor experiment, and then the best concentration of every ingredient was confirmed by orthogonal experiment; (2)The effect of different operational condition (including temperature, pH, additive, aeration) on the nickel stripping rate and iron etching rate were examined, and found out the optimum condition; (3)Studied on the technical index including the capacity of nickel stripper and so on by accumulational experiment; (4)Studied on the recovery of nickel in the spent nickel stripper by electrodeposition method, and chose the current efficiency and nickel recovery efficiency as the main index, and then determined the optimum condition; (5)Regenerated this nickel stripper by added the effective ingredient and investigated the technical index of regenerated environment-friendly nickel stripper and the feasibility of regeneration-recycle technics; (6)The technical index and environmental impact of this new enviroment-friendly nickel stripper was analyzed.The main results are shown as follows:(1)the best condition of every ingredient is:glutamic acid 50g/L, sodium 3-nitrobenzene sulfonate 60g/L, glucon-8-lactone 1.0g/L; (2)the optimum operation condition is:temperature 90℃, pH 10.0, additive "DDTC" concentration 0.5g/L, in this condition, the nickel stripping rate reaches 15.26μm/h; (3)The capacity of nickel stripper, the average of the nickel stripping rate and the average of the iron etching rate are 30g/L,2.5μm/h and 0.05μm/h respectively, all of them are suitable to the requirement of industry; (4)When the temperature is room temperature, the pole distance is 3.5 cm and the pH of solution is 4.0±0.1, the optimum condition of electrodeposit nickel is:groove voltage 5V, electrodeposition time 15h, in this condition, the current efficiency and nickel recovery efficiency are 56.8% and 76.5% respectively and implements the high efficient recovery of nickel; (5)The nickel stripper can be regenerated by adding sodium 3-nitrobenzene sulfonate and glucon-δ-lactone after nickel recovery being finished. The capacity of regenerated nickel stripper reaches 15g/L, the average of the nickel stripping rate and the average of the iron etching rate can be 2.02μm/h and 0.07μm/h respectively, all of them are suitable to the requirement of industry and implements the recycle use of nickel stripper.Futhermore viewing from the environment and safety, this environment-friendly nickel stripper has inimitable advantage than traditional nickel stripper, can obviously reduces the damage to environment, has a wide application prospect.
