Abstract


The asphalt pavement is the main form of China 's highway pavement structure . Asphalt mixture segregation in the construction process is one of the main reasons that cause early damage of asphalt pavement . In recent years , many research institutions at home and abroad a wide range of research carried out for the nominal maximum particle size larger asphalt mixture segregation problem in the construction process , but always seems to these studies has greater limitations . Comprehensive and systematic analysis of the technical features of the segregation of asphalt mixture , thoroughly reveal the cause of the asphalt mixture segregation , to reduce asphalt mixture to the extent of segregation in the construction process , effectively ensuring the overall uniformity of the asphalt pavement , and become the top priority of the current research work . Analysis and on-site construction process investigation , this study a number of substantial projects from the stage of asphalt mixture design , the site of the production process of the asphalt mixture and asphalt mixture paving asphalt mixture produces aggregate segregation and temperature the causes of segregation . In the entire asphalt mix design and the construction process , how to effectively reduce the degree of asphalt mixture to produce two types of segregation , including the choice of the type of asphalt mixture gradation of the asphalt mixture design , selection of raw materials , raw materials management of production , raw materials , production of asphalt mixture , asphalt mixing material transport and handling, the operating parameters of the paver , paving process, \Based on the acceptance of modern product quality , the application of quality control and quality assurance system in principle , pay adjustment theories and models to deal with road quality defects ; proposed the the road acceptance segregation rate and payment adjustment for asphalt pavement there are varying degrees of segregation of situation to ensure the quality of construction and construction management perspective , the relationship ; implementation cost adjustments . This paper strive to improve and improve our asphalt pavement construction technology standard system , to improve the uniformity of the construction quality of the asphalt surface to reduce asphalt pavement early damage , reduce the level of the late pavement maintenance costs , the asphalt pavement construction process in order to minimize the asphalt segregation of the mix to provide a complete solution .
