Abstract


Theme park as a "Sunrise industry" in the tourism industry, which has broad prospects for development, will soon become the largest industries in the world. However, the development of it in China has only a short time and the accumulated experience is not enough. How to face its fast-growing demand, how to promote its healthy development, how to achieve a win-win with the city, will be very important to its various related studies. And, the location is the primary factor in the successful development of theme park.This article explores the location issues of theme park, mentions from its historical location evolution, studies its theories and methods to seek macro guidance for epistemology. Then a concrete analysis of the interaction will be done between the location of theme park and urban development. The last of these studies is to apply these researches to carry on the case to the analysis of the golden theme park in Rushan, to utilize and examine the accuracy of the theories from practice.The innovations in the article are mainly embodied in the following aspects:1. Improve the domestic studies of theme parkWhile many articles on the location of theme park are involved, few conduct the study especially to its location plan. By the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) on "the location of theme park", a literature search shows that there is no relevant result. Therefore, this study may be further complement and improve the domestic studies of theme park.2. Construct the theory and method system of the location of theme parkThe theory and method of the location of theme park are many. Theory system includes location theory, tourism psychology and behavior theory, tourism sociology and anthropology theory, sustainable development theory; Method system includes market analysis method, AHP, GIS, SWOT, dual-screen method. The construction of the system can provide a guarantee for scientific guidance to the location of theme park.3. Study the interaction between the location of theme park and urban developmentThe interaction between them will promote common development. The location oftheme park needs urban supporting factors: economic and market factors, social and cultural factors, political factors, natural factors, and urban infrastructure factors. The impacts of the location of theme park on urban development are: to promote urban economic development, to promote social and cultural development, to improve the urban ecological environment, to shape urban space patterns, and to consummate urban tourism function.
