Abstract


With the ever-accelerating process of popularization of higher education in China, the university teachers the continuous expansion of the scale of teachers' professional quality issues have become increasingly prominent. To enhance the quality of higher education, colleges and universities need to be more focus on the professional development of teachers, to provide a suitable way to improve their professional qualities. Less than three years, especially for those teaching experience, but also the teachers of the new entry stage, how to meet their professional development needs, and to promote the improvement of the quality of their professional, to decide their future development, but also to improve the quality of education an important issue and promote the development of the schools. Therefore, the study of college teachers new entrants to the professional development of staff stage is very necessary. Characteristics and development stage of this study draws on existing theoretical research on the professional development of teachers, a literature study, questionnaire, interviews and other methods, according to occupational characteristics and quality requirements of university teachers, clear new entry stage of professional development of university teachers demand analysis of the status quo of their professional development and influencing factors, and proposed the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. The text is divided into five chapters: Chapter Introduction. Of the problem, current research, the study purpose and meaning, as well as research methods. The second chapter, the university teachers' professional development the connotation and professional development stage theory. The university teachers' professional development is a process of continuous development and improvement of their professional quality teachers in the role of internal and external factors, can be divided into the entry period, stable period, revaluation period, conservative period, exit the faculty period of five stages. Chapter III, college teachers new into functional stages of professional development stage. Stage of new recruits focus on specific analysis of college teachers professional development needs at this stage, from the three aspects of the organization of social, professional quality and the professional development plan. Chapter Four, college teachers new into the analysis of the status quo and influencing factors of occupational stages of professional development. Analyze the existing problems in the investigation of the basis of the status of university teachers' professional development, and analysis of the factors affecting the professional development of teachers from the community, schools, teachers three dimensions. Chapter V, college teachers new into the suggestions of the functional stages of professional development. On the basis of previous studies, the university teachers try to give new entrants to the suggestions of the functional stages of professional development, including the strengthening of the support and supervision of the university teachers' professional development, and to create a school environment that is conducive to the professional development of teachers, conduct reflective teaching to promote new recruits teachers' professional autonomy development.
