This paper discusses on the state granary manage system which is belong to the whole storehouse systems, the main goal is , through studies of the management and staff installation of state granary, the fund source, grain collection, the manners of storage and the expend patterns, discuss how the granary’s function played in the concrete operation, the analysis will help us know the significant meaning on finance system and famine of the granary which is built by state more.The paper can be divides into five following parts mainly:The first part, "’the preface" ,mainly introduces the research on state storehouse in present condition, the paper research foundation and the train of thought.The second part, "the basic situation of storehouse develop in Song Dynasty" ,introduce the main types of storehouse in Song Dynasty, as well as the development of storehouse in the past times in brief, mainly introduce the granary set up and it’s distribution in the whole Nation, at the same time, analyze the reserves of the state granary.The third part, "the manage system of the state granary" ,mainly introduce the management and staff installation in Song Dynasty. For the concrete manage system, we put emphasis on the fund source, grain collection, the manners on grain storage and expenditure ways, through four research emphasis, analyze the concrete operation situation of state granary. The fund source of granary is diversify, there are concrete prescription on the collection and the expenditure, in addition, there are special staffs guard the state granary, make the grain in the granary safer and fresher. We can’t neglect how to take care the granary appropriately, because this is one important segment of the state whole manage system.The fourth part, "the function of the state granary", for the microcosmic, different kinds of state granary has different effect, generally speaking, there are four kinds of function, relieve with sell, relieve with donated funds, relieve with lend and relieve with work as follows, moreover, some special use are exist, such as make wine, assist army and so on.
