Abstract


With the accelerated pace of global economic integration , modern logistics has become the top priority of our national economic development . The face of an urgent requirement for the development of modern logistics industry and a good opportunity for countries to increase investment in railway construction , relying on the rail freight existing resources , accelerate the transition to a modern logistics of integrated transport and logistics system and the reform of rail freight development objective needs , but also enhance the competitiveness of the logistics industry , to cultivate new economic growth point of the strategic choice , more important strategic initiatives is to build a harmonious railway . First , a more detailed exposition of the domestic and international rail freight and rail logistics status and mode of operation , focusing on the rail transport and modern logistics concepts related to the theory and Comparative Analysis of rail freight and logistics for the development of logistics operation below laid a foundation ; followed by traditional rail freight to the transformation of modern railway logistics environment , the necessity and feasibility conditions , through the use of SWOT analysis demonstrated in detail from four angles of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats Xiangfan railway freight the necessity and feasibility of the development of modern railway logistics , and then from the third-party logistics service mode , the mode of operation of the logistics park , modern logistics value-added service model of Xiangfan rail freight development of modern logistics mode into the study ; concludes from the role of the government role in promoting ; improve the information construction ; strengthen personnel training and management to protect rail freight successful implementation of the transition to modern logistics , but also hope that the rail freight industry should be expanded to a modern logistics industry as soon as possible , thus ensuring the fierce logistics market competition to win customers and win market .
