Abstract


The object of this thesis is the cultural semantics and translation , the paper aims to explore the relationship between cultural semantics and translation as well as cultural semantics conveyed . As we all know , is closely related to language and culture , language carries a rich cultural connotation . Semantic meaning of national culture is an important part of vocabulary in the actual communication, the importance of national cultural semantics sometimes even more than the concept of the meaning of words . Inseparable from the semantic translation studies , the correct understanding of the original content is carried out to ensure the smooth translation of the premise , the ability to use the target language accurately express the original meaning is an important criterion for judging the quality of translation . Because the lives of different nations , customs, religion, politics, aesthetics , values ​​and psychological conditions , have the same conceptual meaning of the words of the national cultural semantics have often different. In the current global context of economic integration and cultural exchanges are also more and more people being mentioned . Translation is the communication between different cultures and communication tools . Therefore, cultural semantics and translation research is particularly important. Culture is the history of human society practice the process of creating material wealth and spiritual wealth . Cultural content is comprehensive . The first chapter compares the origins of Chinese and Western cultures , analyzes and summarizes the domestic and foreign scholars on the definition of culture as well as the meaning of cultural factors on school studies , further pointed out that cultural semantics is an important component of meaning , sometimes even more than the concept of lexical meaning . And pointed out that whether from the classic \Translators in the translation process should be thorough understanding of the semantics of the original culture , in order to properly communicate its cultural flavor . Semantics and translation of cultural relations , the authors believe , cultural semantics are required during the translator to convey important semantic content , semantics convey cultural adequacy is an important criterion for judging the quality of translation . The purpose and function of simultaneous interpretation also requires the translator to convey proper grasp of cultural semantics . In the second chapter comparative analysis of Russian and Chinese color words semantic similarities and differences between cultures , summed up as follows translation strategies : direct transplantation color , color filling reservations abandon paraphrase color , color conversion . In short, in an all-encompassing cultural era of globalization, translation is not just confined to the literal translation of the form , and gradually expand the connotation of cultural translation, and increasingly favored the latter.
