Nowadays, most of the oil fields in our country are in low-energy or low-production condition. We usually inject water into oil wells, then pump oil from layers by beam pumping units. Therefore, most oil fields face to the situation of“exchange water for oil”. This must cause power consumption of oil fields is very large, and charges of electricity are extremely high. Therefore, electrical conservation has become a focus of petroleum industry.Electrical motors play the most important rule in oil wells system. Its efficiency has direct relationship with the cost and profit of recovery. According to the present situation, the efficiency of electrical motors is very low. The average is less than 30%. Therefore, the energy saving problem of beam pumping units is becoming the vital one.Field production operation brings many problems to the oil wells production control. Manual testing is still the main measurement we used now to enhance oil wells production control which has many limitations. According to the present situation, we design a set of primary oil wells testing system, which used STC89C51 as the main part, ADC0809 analog-digital conversion chip and serial EEPROM chip AT24C32 as the main extended components.The oil well system tester described by this thesis on hardware is composed by power module, oscillation circuit, reset flip-flop, memory circuit, LED display circuit, data acquisition circuit, serial communication circuit and some extended circuit. In this paper we will give you the design of this hardware module in details.In design of system software, this thesis introduces how to design the programs about MCU working as a lower computer, such as data acquisition program, data storage program, serial communication program and data presentation program. Also, the ideologies of the software which use MCU working as a upper computer to make man-machine interface come true.The oil well system tester described by this thesis,which has a high degree of accuracy can obtain desired parameters easily and quickly in a steady state. The data acquisition part which has commonality can be secondary developed using in other professions. And it must have a bright future.
