Abstract


Space words is one of the hotspots of cognitive linguistics . This paper on the basis of previous studies , with the viewpoints and methods of cognitivism seven words in the modern Chinese space group space dimension words semantic analysis . Seven groups spatial dimension words : \The article is divided into two parts , respectively, of the above-mentioned space dimension metaphorical meaning of the words in the beginning of the original domain of real means righteousness and the target domain analysis . In fact refers to the meaning of the analysis , we recognize that spatial dimension word is an interrelated and mutually different unified whole , they are both roughly the same common object description and expression , different emphases vary . Metaphorical meaning in the target domain analysis of the spatial dimension word , we see that the word spatial dimensions in addition to said that the concept of space dimensions , time , voice , age , color , odor , intelligence , status , knowledge , feelings , quality can also be expressed , forces and other abstract concepts. Closely related to specific dimensions of the words specific abstractions its actually refers to significance at the beginning of the original domain . Through the writing of this article , we recognize recognized , can reasonably describe and explain many linguistic phenomena from a cognitive perspective . At the same time , we believe that the contrast between the language study is feasible from a cognitive perspective .
