Abstract


Being advanced organization model and management technology, modern logistics which can decrease material consumption and increase productivity is regarded as "the 3rd profit resources" and inter-trade, inter-department , inter-region and even international systems engineering.To be compatible with the strategy of "changing from global carrier to global logistics operator" by COSCO, aiming to accelerating the development of COSCO logistics the article introduces the status quo of international shipping and COSCO shipping, logistics development and its trend, using qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze arid forecast the logistics market.Based on plenty of data this article analyzes the actual realities of COSCO and critical problems, expound on necessity, feasibility and principles of developing COSCO logistics, probe into COSCO logistics strategy determination and network planning and its implementation. What is more, the article uses systemic method to make simulant appreciation on COSCO logistics system cost control and quality control.Integrating practical works and advanced modern logistics theory with experiences of excellent international logistics enterprises the author makes the qualitative and quantitative research to further the development of COSCO logistics.
