Abstract


This paper mainly discusses neologism vitality and the factors that affect it . Text is divided into four parts: the first part discusses what is the neologism , resulting neologism way . Generating means, including five kinds : one new office word ; second is to use an abbreviated form of the acronym law ; Third, the emergence of new words in the original meaning and new uses ; four is the new party source word ; five is the new foreign words . The second section discusses neologism vitality. The vitality is divided into horizontal and vertical . Transverse vitality refers neologism during use , the size of its use , frequency of use , but also incurs the accepted or recognized degree ; vertical vitality refers to the future development of vocabulary is produced , ie whether it appears stable and rooted in the Chinese vocabulary growth among the family .
