Abstract


The role of government is both ancient and reality, but a matter of debate, government intervention in the process of social and economic development plays an extremely important role. Government intervention to achieve a virtuous and promote social and economic development, is in the process of economic transformation China urgently needs to study and solve a good key issues. Based on the historical review of the theory of government intervention is proposed government intervention in the market economy, economic analysis framework, combined with China's actual proposed government intervention in general and special functions. The first part of the thesis, the theory of government intervention in a historic review of the main schools of economics through the different theories and ideas, comments made some useful insights. The second part of the government intervention in economic theory analyzes carried out to study the market failure under static and dynamic under the new market failure and government failure, government intervention in the market economy in general, presented research opinions.
