Abstract

Objective: In this paper, the Department from 1999 to 2008 , 2313 cases cases for statistical analysis in order to find the different causes of death cases share the specific gravity and its variation , different gender and age distribution of the cause of death , and a case-by-case analysis as a means , On the various cases of forensic identification points and research progress . Materials and Methods: Forensic Pathology, Department of Forensic Medicine , Tongji Medical College , Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 1999 to 2008, 2,313 cases of the details of the actual case , the application of general statistical methods , statistical analysis of these data . In each of the five categories of cases screened front 1 to 2 cases representative case reasoning analysis or test . Results: 2313 cases cases , the number of various causes of death cases Sort : the disease death gt ; mechanical injury gt ; poisoning gt ; mechanical asphyxia gt ; unexplained death gt ; damage of the high and low temperature . The disease mortality central vascular system disease mortality (43%) , mechanical injury , head injury accounted for 55 % . The same cause of death cases accounted for the total number of cases in each year the proportion was no significant difference . Male deaths , mechanical injury , and the proportion of high and low temperature injury than women, mechanical asphyxia and poisoning the proportion is less than the women . The coroner's sort of all age groups over the age of 21 is basically the same , to mechanical asphyxia case of 10 -year-old age group more less mechanical damage case . The different causes of death cases identified points of identification procedures and methods in much the same but have different emphases . Interdisciplinary and application of new technologies to the the forensic pathology prosecution case brought many effective auxiliary detection method . Conclusion: 1 . Died still the first cause of death , my unit forensic deaths , different gender deaths , the same kinds of causes of death accounted constitute the ratio differences . Speculated that within the next few years , the proportion of cases of all kinds of causes of death in my unit will continue to stabilize . Neonatal amniotic fluid aspiration asphyxia cases more, should attract the attention of the forensic and maternity workers . 2 different cases the cause of death in forensic pathology identified in conjunction with its own characteristics , strict diagnosis of exclusion , emphasis on clinical examination and molecular genetics testing methods . The application of molecular genetics research on the part of sudden death cases is an effective means to explore the mechanism of death .
