Abstract


Colorectal cancer is the malignant tumors of the intestinal epithelial origin , one of the most common digestive malignancies . In China, with the improvement of people's living standards , dietary changes , and its incidence is a rising trend . Recent studies have found that telomere length is an important pointer cancer , monitoring changes in telomere length is an important means to study cancer . In this study, the use of quantitative fluorescence in situ hybridization (Q-FISH) telomere length determination of colorectal cancer cells in colorectal carcinoma , as well as the use of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and chemiluminescence measured DNA damage and in the serum of patients with colorectal cancer concentration of telomere shortening related protein (Stathmin, EF-1αn-acetyl-glucosaminidase, Chitobiosidase) of , and compare it with the correlation between colorectal cancer clinical parameters to understand the telomere shortening and DNA damage in the development of colorectal tumors role , and understand the relationship with the prognosis of colorectal cancer , looking for better markers to predict the prognosis of the tumor is clinically . We found that there were statistically significant between the Dukes stage of colorectal cancer cell telomere length and colorectal , the serum DNA damage and telomere shortening associated protein (n-acetyl-glucosaminidase) , one with colorectal liver transfer and CA199 expression exists a significant correlation , providing experimental evidence to further our understanding of telomere shortening and DNA damage in colorectal carcinogenesis role in the development process , and to some extent predict the prognosis of colorectal cancer .
