Abstract


With the application of project management theory continues to expand, a growing number of industries or enterprises have introduced project management, and has made great economic benefits. In 2009, China’s telecommunications industry has undergone tremendous changes in reorganization, the State Ministry of Industry approved the three companies with a 3G business qualifications. In the fierce competitive environment, companies that only by continuously reducing their operating costs and improving the quality of communication services to win more users. In such a competitive situation, managers need to apply new management methods to reduce costs and ensure quality of service.The quality of service in Mobile communications industrymainly depends on the quality of the base station and Communications equipment. Introducing project management theory to the mobile base station construction project, can guarantee the quality of projects to meet the requirements of users. Quality, cost and schedule are the three objectives of project management where quality is the core of project. However, it is necessary to coordinate Quality Management with two other aspects in the process of project management to obtain greater efficiency.This paper introduces the theory of project management firstly, and studies the application of quality management in the construction project of mobile base station.To CDMA Construction project of Yancheng branch of China Net in 2009 as a case, this paper analyzed how to use the theory of project management in construction project of base station to solve practical problems.Quality management of construction projects of Mobile base stations including establishing quality objectives, formulating quality plan, controllingand improving quality.
