Abstract


In this paper, flexible manufacturing system based on Ethernet, which has integrated control and management functions, is analyzed and built for the actual requirement of fine machining shop.Flexible manufacturing system is mainly composed of local area network, numerical control workshop’s integrated control system, workshop’s production management information system, and processing design integrated system.This paper mainly introduces the key technology and the software and hardware system’s design of numerical control workshop’s DNC integrated control system. A new networking project based on Ethernet for different numerical control systems and communication controller for network communication are designed in this paper. This paper introduces network and database management System and some application software developed with Visual Basic for the subsystems, which includes processing design integrated system, production management information and communication management of NC machine and so on.This system is practical, reliable, which works stably, uses advanced technology, and has powerful function, little money invested and rapid return, which improves the level of workshop’s manufacturing and management and is deserved to use everywhere in our nation.
