Abstract


Objective To detect gestational diabetes mellitus ( GDM ) group, impaired glucose tolerance ( IGT ) group and normal glucose tolerance ( NGT ) group of pregnant women glucose tolerance test ( OGTT ) at each time point glucose (FPG) and synchronization of insulin release test at each time point insulin ( FINS ) , detected in maternal plasma resistin and C -reactive protein levels ( CRP ) , and the indicators correlation analysis, to explore the plasma resistin prime CRP possible role in the pathogenesis of GDM . Method subjects were divided into three groups : GDM group (n = 30 ) , IGT group (n = 30 ) , NGT group (30 cases) . Application hexokinase method for the determination of blood glucose ; radioimmunoassay measured insulin ; enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay plasma resistin ; immunization rate method for the determination of CRP . Homeostasis model assessment insulin resistance index ( HOMA - IRI ) and insulin secretion index ( HBCI ) to evaluate the degree of insulin resistance and pancreatic beta cell function and the correlation analysis between the groups . ( 1 ) among the three groups HOMA-IR comparison GDM group gt ; the IGT group gt ; NGT group , GDM than IGT ( P < 0.01 ) and NGT group ( P < 0.01 ) , but the comparison between the IGT group and NGT group significant difference ; among the three groups HOMA - HBCI from GDM to IGT , NGT increased successively , and the GDM and IGT group were significantly different ( P < 0.05 ) , no difference between IGT and NGT ; when the first three groups phase insulin secretion index was not statistically significant compared to GDM group second -phase insulin secretion index was significantly lower than IGT ( P < 0.05 ) and NGT ( P < 0.01 ) groups . ( 2 ) GDM plasma resistin , C-reactive protein level is higher than the IGT group ( P < 0.01 ) and NGT group ( P <0.01 ) , but no significant difference between the IGT group and the NGT group (3) correlation analysis that : GDM plasma resistin FPG, FINS, HOMA-IRI was positively correlated with ; GDM serum C -reactive protein and third trimester of pregnancy BMI , FPG , FINS , HOMA - IRI was positively correlated . Conclusion , GDM patients insulin resistin, exist at the same time reduce the islet beta cell function , similar to adults with type 2 diabetes . 2 , GDM and IGT plasma resistin and C -reactive protein levels . 3 , resistin and C -reactive protein and closely related to IR , suggesting that resistin and C-reactive protein are related to the incidence of GDM , there are also complementary relationship between the two .
