Abstract


The conceptual design is still not a unified approach , and its theory is not mature . The qualitative reasoning is an artificial intelligence reasoning techniques emerging in recent years , has not completely handle imprecise , qualitative knowledge and ability , and efficient human thinking methods . Therefore, the qualitative reasoning effectively applied to the product conceptual design is of great significance . Product conceptual design process from the perspective of abstraction and then recognize , stressed the efficiency of the application of qualitative knowledge , pointed out the need for qualitative reasoning in conceptual design applications . De Kleer based on the idea of \agencies assisted concept design framework . The combination of flat- four institutions designed to explain the causality in qualitative reasoning and constraint propagation process , and constructed to achieve them and other algorithms . Finally , to achieve and verify the work of the qualitative reasoning , the design of the four agencies assisted concept design system based on qualitative reasoning plane .
