Abstract


Countries to take environment measures has a major impact on the multilateral trade, triggering a series of trade disputes, and thus became a focal point in the discussion of relationship between trade and environment problem. The paper systematically studied under multilateral trade system and trade related environmental measures. Content is divided into four parts: background analysis, trade-related environmental measures (TREMs), developing countries and the TREMs, multilateral trading system under the TREMs of development trend. This paper mainly expounds the various environmental measures related to trade in the form and its influence on international trade development, and analyzes the environmental standards and environmental measures are closely related. TREMs is analyzed from three angles of rationality, and how to modify the related WTO rules predicted and Suggestions are put forward. In addition, the author also expounds the relationship with the TREMs in developing countries.
