Abstract


Objective grasp Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone SME workers for occupational disease prevention knowledge, attitudes and behavior status of Urumqi public health surveillance , safety production supervision and disease prevention and control departments to develop and conduct meet the city 's labor market situation by occupational hazards health education work of a scientific basis. Methods A stratified random sampling method to master living in the community Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone and occupational disease prevention worker knowledge, attitudes and behavior status quo, through the media, radio, billboards and other community interventions for prevention of occupational diseases for workers health education . Health education carried out before and after the use of anonymous questionnaires asking . Establish a database and used for dual Epidata3.0 over data entry , data analysis performed using SPSS13.0 . Results of surveys conducted before the intervention , 510 questionnaires were distributed , 504 valid questionnaires were collected , after six months of training to carry out the second post-intervention survey , 510 questionnaires were returned 488 valid questionnaires . Crowd the occupational hazards of occupational disease prevention in the community before and after health education intervention knowledge factors , attitudes and behavior factors Factor answer for statistical analysis, the results were statistically significant . Knowledge of occupational hazards in the education of workers to accept forms of propaganda , the main form of broadcast ( 66.7% ) , television ( 44.7% ) , newspapers, magazines, books ( 28.5% ) , tape recording discs ( 23.6% ) . Conclusion The occupational health of workers must be strengthened to disseminate knowledge and education to improve SME workers occupational disease prevention knowledge, awareness , and take effective promotion of occupational disease prevention knowledge in the form of health education ; while taking advantage of community health service platform, to develop targeted , effective interventions.
