Abstract


This paper mainly focus from China 's recent cases involving a public figure right of reputation , reference to foreign news tort law developed common law countries the legislation on public figures in our reputation right infringement , this special groups to implement the reverse tilt protection of the theoretical basis and specific measures . First, since no exact definition of public figures in the existing laws and regulations in China , the author through the formation and development of the media industry developed the concept of evolution , combined with the reality of China 's national conditions , and thus the concept of public figures the basic types are analyzed.
