Abstract


Globalization and multicultural era of increasingly frequent international exchanges of the world , people in the context of multicultural communication , and how in a multicultural context to communicate effectively in recent years, foreign language teaching has become an important topic of concern . Therefore, in today's culture so diverse forms , our English teaching educators how to develop and give learners the kind of learning that the direction is essential. English textbooks function is to enable students to learn not only cultural knowledge, but presents a variety of cultural material , the creation of cultural scenes , so that students learn about other cultures , but also be able to spread the culture of the nation , and eventually to world culture the continuous generation and innovation. Junior high school teaching as a basic stage of compulsory education , the importance of self-evident. Therefore, the evaluation of the suitability of materials used by students to show their multicultural development and characteristics of the times has a certain practical significance. Thesis consists of five parts : preface introduces the topic reason , purpose and significance of the study and research ideas and methods . The first chapter is a multicultural theory and related research . Explains the culture , multiculturalism and multicultural education in three areas meaning and philosophy, the core idea \The second chapter is junior high school English curriculum correlation analysis . English curriculum theory, \Chapter III is a cross- cultural identity Perspective junior high school English textbook analysis . In \The fourth chapter is the study conclusions and recommendations. Analysis and investigation through the previous chapter , the author puts forward his own conclusions , and for the conclusion of the amended textbooks and teacher materials to use some suggestions and inspiration.
