Abstract


Critical Discourse Analysis, as a branch of modern linguistics, is the 1970s and early 1980s by the critical linguistics evolved a theoretical framework for discourse analysis and research methods. Critical Discourse Analysis main object of study is the public discourse, and other non-literary discourse. News is its focus on the object of study that analyzes the discourse of language features and generate historical background, study language ideological meanings behind the structure, thus revealing language, power, and the complex relationship between ideology, to raise public awareness discourse and understanding of the role of social property. This study aims to create a new analysis of economic news discourse patterns, thus revealing its hidden behind ideology. The thesis comprises five parts. The first chapter briefly describes the background of this study, and to clarify why we needed to do this research and how the issue. Chapter II major retrospective on the news at home and abroad, especially economic news discourse discourse critical analysis of the research status of economic news summary unique language features. The third chapter describes the theoretical basis of this study: Halliday's systemic functional grammar, Fairclough's critical discourse analysis for the three-dimensional analysis of patterns and Dwight Lasswell's communication theory, and on this basis to build a criticism on economic news Discourse Analysis unique pattern. The fourth chapter analyzes the use of the constructed model, analysis of economic news discourse and ideological relations. Finally, the concluding section. The entire analysis process is divided into three parts: description, interpretation and explanation. The conclusions of the study are as follows: This study demonstrates that despite the economic news was highlighted as an objective, impartial, but still inevitably be ideological influence. Significance of this study is designed to create a new analysis of economic news discourse model, showing how to use this method of analysis of economic information in the text of the press, to reveal those who can not easily be aware of the relationship between language and ideology as well as how to use the power elite language affect people's thinking in order to maintain awareness of their own interests. Furthermore, this study can also help readers understand the methodology of critical discourse, discourse analysis to improve their ability and reading ability.
