Abstract


English learning in modern life becomes more and more important , writing as the four basic English skills one to obtain a high degree of attention . English writing teaching and research more and more attention . As basic education high school teaching of English writing naturally attracted more and more attention . However, due to various reasons teaching of English writing of a late start , the existing teaching methods can not meet the needs of modern education . Project Approach the theoretical basis for the constructivist theory of multiple intelligences and cooperative learning theory . This new pedagogy has just appeared it caused great concern of the majority of scholars and teachers . In recent years , the project method in the field of English teaching is more and more widely , and has made remarkable achievements , but the experimental study of the project teaching method in the teaching of English writing is still relatively small . The project pedagogy research monograph logical reasoning or qualitative research methods demonstrated this method to improve the role of students' reading and writing skills . Most of the research is the lack of experimental proof . This project aims through pilot study found that the effectiveness of the project approach to improve the teaching of English writing , and explore a complete project - based teaching theory teaching programs and curriculum design approach . For research purposes in Shuozhou City , Shanxi Province , Li Lin Middle School , a project - based teaching theory experimental teaching and research , pick out the experimental and control groups , the use of project teaching theory to design project -based writing curriculum , the implementation of the experimental teaching, and then using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to study and analyze the results of teaching . The study found an active role in project teaching methods to improve students' English writing skills and writing strategies to enhance interest in learning, and to promote the overall development of students has a positive effect . In this study, experimental study to prove the Project Approach on the improvement of the teaching of English writing . Project Approach curriculum design , to explore a reference implementation of the project approach of writing courses for high school English teaching reform , provides a useful reference for the majority of researchers, English teachers and learners . Also hope to promote the in-depth study of this pedagogy in theory .
