Abstract


In the second language acquisition process, the important role of the hearing has long been recognized. In recent years, in our country the listening teaching more and more attention. The Ministry of Education of English listening teaching and assessment more seriously. 2008 college entrance examination in English listening test has been widely credited to the total score; listening comprehension part of the University of CET proportion from 20% to 35%, will reach 75% of the large proportion. Hearing tests affected by many factors, the new reform pilot questions designed to improve students' English listening teaching the important and difficult. \It is a gradual process. Comprehensible input theory applied to the teaching of listening comprehension, may be effective to improve the teaching of listening comprehension effect become one of the research focus of foreign language teaching. The purpose of this study is to: (1) to explore new teaching methods combined with comprehensible input theory of hearing; (2) teaching methods comprehensible input is feasible in today's hearing teaching; (3) By comparing the traditional teaching methods and intelligibility teaching methods to analyze the effect of the latter to improve learners' listening ability; (4) tries to college English listening teaching effective recommendations. Krashen's theory of comprehensible input, Chengde Tourism Vocational School of Tourism Management Major sophomore student questionnaires and interviews and look forward to a variety of factors affect the listening comprehension, in order to further experiments awareness will these factors are controlled to within a certain range, so that more reliable experimental data. Listening and comprehensible input combined with traditional hearing pedagogy and teaching in the control class and the experimental class, the use of horizontal and vertical comparison, and ultimately arrive at a more effective hearing teaching methods. The use of the method of combining qualitative and quantitative analysis, the results show a combination of the comprehensible input hearing teaching methods to more effectively improve learners of English listening comprehension ability. Therefore, in the Teaching of English Listening and comprehensible input methods of teaching has an important position. Comprehensible input to achieve largely contributed to the improvement of the learners 'listening comprehension, thereby improving students' English abilities and learning effect. This study has a theoretical value and practical significance. In theory, it can further study of the rich comprehensible input theory in Second Language Acquisition. In practice, this study can contribute to the college English teaching reform, feasible and effective teaching methods for foreign language teaching.
