Abstract


From the seventies and eighties of the last century, more and more researchers began their study and research on Zhuang. They made a number of description and interpretation on the structures and functions of Zhuang and got lots of achievements. This article tries to do a full description of Zhuang from the contemporary linguistic typology, which is also the main content of this thesis.In the first chapter of the article, the author selected 61 features from WALS, and made the description of Zhuang in accordance with these features. The description covers the phonology, morphology, Nominal Categories, Nominal Syntax, Verbal Categories, Word Order, Simple Clauses and Complex Sentences. The description complements the lack of previous research literature from the typological point of view.In the second chapter of the thesis, the author did a depth study on the five expressions of disparity sentence in Zhuang. Then discussed the nature of markers "beij", "lai"," gvaq". Finally the author got the dominant expressions and the disadvantage expressions from these five expressions.
