Abstract


This dissertation,which aims to investigate the usage and characters about the adverbs of degree in Xin Bian Wu Dai Shi Ping Hua(it abbreviated as Ping Hua in the follows).It analysis all the thirty -eight adverbs of degree appearing in the novel in four classes of two categories through detailed statistics and depiction which consists the usage including the practical frequency, the grammar function and the place in the sentences etc. Makes a thorough survey analysis and depiction on the adverbs of degree using the Ping Hua as the research resource .It arrives at its conclusion on the foundation of grammar theory,the achievements in the relative realm,and under the help of mathematical statistics. Moreover,it carries out a temporal analysis through comparing Zhu Zi Yu Lei,Quan Yuan Qu and Xi Yang Ji etc.In the research, it mainly explains the definition and the standards of classification of adverbs of degree on the foundation of relative achievements already gotten by counterparts in the field. In the addition, this section also specifies the circumscription along with the classification of its subject.Its grammar elements with other modifications,an summarily analyses some problems as to the combining usage about adverbs of degrees in this novel. This part finally sums up the use of adverbs of degree in the Ping Hua, along with its role in the integral modern times and its inheritance as well as development in mode language.The Chinese adverbs of degree is widely used in the language .Every adverbs of degree is different from others in some aspects. The Article deals with many of its grammatical and functions from its combinations in details.
