Abstract


Huang Tingjian is a famous poet in the North Song Dynasty. His poems and Su Shi’s poems represent the highest achievements of Song Dynasty’s poems and they are called "Su Huang". He had devoted himself to studying and creating poetry, both on theory and practice were made outstanding contributions, so he was called the lord of the "Jiangxi Poems" school, which is the most important Poetic school in the Song Dynasty. His opinions " Turn Iron into Gold ", "borrow the body but change the sprit" and " every word has its original", which all means the composition should studying from the others first and then abstract the deeper meaning and built in new artistic conception and new style in poems. Those opinions reflect the characteristics of his poems. The deeper morals of his ideas is to encourage more and more reading, accumulation of big amount reading leading to innovate, and helped to open a new field in composition. He also wrote many popular Poem sentences about reading and was called the typical poet of the "Reading Poem" in the Song Dynasty.On the basis of the previous research, through the study of Huang Tingjian’s Reading Poems, this paper go further to sum up and research all about Huang tingjian’s poem sentences just about reading, and makes a complement to Huang Tingjian’s Reading Poems, which were the typical examples of Song’s Reading Poems. Firstly, the article look back into the Song Dynasty for to study how the history factors effected Huang’s poem composition, such as society environment, poet’s character and life experience, to discuss why he chosen to create "Reading Poems". Then the main part of the article is to classify all his Reading Poems both by two clues. The timing clue separate his composition to three period according to his life experience, and analysis the differences and features; the content clue classify his poems according to the content, and try to present the difference both in form and meanings of every kind of poems. The purpose of the paper is to present a quite special style of Huang tingjian’s poems, and his Distinctive contribution, on this basic, to express the author’s understanding of his poetics dream, his opinion on composition and the theoretical value, wish to built a little to the study of poems, study of Huang Tingjian, study of Song’s Poems.
