Abstract


The Literary Criticism in the late 80’s returned to their own in the basis of comprehensive clean-up and critical reflection, The Literary Criticism moved towards consciousness and show a pluralistic development pattern. The Literary Criticism has obtained the important breakthrough in five fields:the criticism of literary subjectivity, the breakthrough and innovation of critical approaches to literature , the criticism of literary forms, the criticism of realism and typical image and the criticism of normative theoretical construction in the aesthetical ideology. Theorists based on the literary practices, and dare to try to break with the old and establish the new, so they made a series of important research results in the late 80’s literary criticism, and had a profound influence on the subsequent development of Literary Theory. Therefore, it is a realistic significance of the matter with the concept of inheritance and innovation to study the whole of this period of literary criticism.The article based on the development of literary criticism in the late 80’s, naturally divided into five parts. First of all, the appearance of literature subjectivity brought a profound debate on the cultural theory. Second, the breakthroughs and innovations of the critical approaches to literature show a urgent need of literary theory in this period. Again, the criticism of literary forms opened a new world of literature study. In addition the criticism of realism and typical image made the literary criticism concerned the origin and brought a formation of resurgence. Finally, the criticism of normative theoretical construction in the aesthetical ideology promoted the in-depth study on the nature of literature.After analysis on these five fields we can get not only acquire the overview of literary criticism in the late 80’s,but also reflects the depth of thinking on the modern transformation.
