Abstract


Eileen Chang , an extraordinary woman of modern Chinese literary world is a woman, a writer of modern and contemporary literary talent Sublime . 1940s by virtue of her collection of short stories \As her reputation in the mainland and overseas on three occasions off \The shot that mature writers , life there are too many works worthy of our study . But a few years , as their works have adapted into a movie , the more cause for concern , was the most mentioned , she in 30-50 's in short stories . Everywhere full of whimsy come in handy in a metaphor in these works , the paper that this corpus based on Eileen Chang analogy to do as much as possible a detailed analysis of the purpose of the form of expression from the language of its analogy practice to do a comprehensive description of these parables from the perspective of pragmatics and cognitive analysis, observation of the role of metaphor in the actual communication . Body part from two major aspects of the metaphor in her novels . First of all , in the framework of the theory of traditional Chinese metaphor , Eileen Chang metaphor from the body , Vehicle , and their relationship to each other several ways to do a detailed inspection , summed up its figurative features . Then , from the point of view of Pragmatic and Cognitive Analysis the analogy deep structure and surface structure , and investigated the role of metaphor in the actual communication .
