Abstract


Since 21st century,the public art has been devepoped as rapidly as Chinese economy and the advancing of urbanization. Facing the monotony of business street, antique architecture, European-style villas and other embarrassing situation in the urban development, let’s talk about pubilc art regional issues. It is of great practical significance. In the practical construction of urban public art work,only when you did a full concern of region based on the tendency of local culture, you could make the work maintained and underlined the charm of the local culture, in order to make it the spiritual and cultural symbols of the rigion,and make the work itself performed the charm of distinguishiability and generalityThe northwest of china,including five provinces,is the important origin of the yellow ricer civilization.cultural and regional characteristics are distinct.shaanxi based on the carrier of tang culture; ningxia and xinjiang based on the theme of Islamic culture; qinghai based on the tibetan buddhism and the traditional culture of mongolia;and gansu relaying on the silk road with the same strain of yellow river civilization blended. Provinces and cities have their own unique tendencies of urban culture,showing their distinctive regional cultural identity. from the Public Art,the local geography and the cultural history, The article showed various aspects of the natural landscape in the Northwest region in different geographical and cultural adaptation and development.
