Abstract

Multiple myeloma (Multiple myeloma, MM) is a malignant diseases that endanger human life and health , as the main feature is a malignant tumor derived from terminally differentiated B lymphocytes , with a large number of plasma cells in the bone marrow of patients clonal its main feature is a large number of the generation of monoclonal immunoglobulin and osteoporosis . Myeloma incidence of multiple cytokines , such as interleukin- 6 , tumor necrosis factor α (TNFα), insulin-like growth factor binding protein 4 , macrophage inflammatory protein -1α (MIP-1α). The study shows that these factors in the growth of myeloma cells and the development process plays an important role , and can stimulate the formation of osteoclasts has a close relationship with the incidence and prognosis of myeloma bone disease , the greater the concentration, the worse the prognosis . Therefore, drugs that inhibit these factors produce , can relieve the symptoms of patients with myeloma , and improve the quality of life and prognosis . The ginsenosides (Ginsenoside, G) is the main active ingredient Araliaceae Panax genus , anti-aging , anti-fatigue , anti-platelet aggregation , anti- radiation , and other biological functions . With further research , these compounds have strong activity in the prevention and treatment of cancer . Ginsenosides exert its antineoplastic activity through a variety of mechanisms , such as direct inhibition of tumor cell growth ; induce tumor cell apoptosis and differentiation ; role in multiple aspects of tumor invasion and inhibition of tumor metastasis ; reversal of drug resistance and improve chemotherapy drugs sensitivity ; affect a variety of enzyme activity in the cells ; may also affect the metabolism and regulation of the immune function , enhance the body 's resistance to disease , and thereby indirectly inhibit tumor growth . The Ginsenoside may act in a variety of tumor cells , but its role has yet to see the relevant reports myeloma cells .
