Abstract


In 1943 , the United States abolished the continuation of the 61 years of the Chinese Exclusion Act . Repeal of the Chinese Exclusion Act is a United States immigration policy under the new historical conditions, a major adjustment , it is the result of the interaction of various factors , including a gradient factors often been overlooked , and that is the image of China Outlook . This paper is divided into four parts to discuss China's image of the United States view of how the impact of changes in U.S. immigration policy : the first part examines the concept of China's image in the American public . China's image of the general public view of the complex and changing , but still has its own formation and development of special track . This section examines the contempt and rejection of the American public by the late 19th century the Chinese to believe that the evolution of the Chinese in the United States under the \The second part analyzes the concept of the image of China in the United States the highest political level . America's highest decision-making level in the decision-making is always first consider the strategic interests of the comprehensive U.S. national interests , and therefore , their image of China outlook by the U.S. diplomatic strategy around , and they will be based on the strategic need to shape the image of China . The third part discusses the outlook of China's image of the American public and the decision-making role in the repeal of the Chinese Exclusion Act .
