Abstract


Pierre Bourdieu is a contemporary of the famous French anthropologist and sociologist , is only a sociology professor at the College de France , is the leader of the French education reform . In recent years , his work has attracted more and more research interests , while he himself has become the most influential Western thinkers of the 20th century . Start the publications from the 1950s and 1960s , 20 he shows the wisdom and insight of the mainstream social sciences . However , Bourdieu ideological and theoretical most cited the most attractive is his educational ideas . Subject or theme of the early works mostly with Pasi Long , he coauthored two books on educational issues - the main point of education is reflected in the \Where , \This paper is divided into four parts of Bourdieu 's sociology of education theory to sort out , in order to form a more complete system : the first chapter introduces Bourdieu 's academic career , and its epistemological tradition , with French structuralism and phenomenology angle analysis of Bourdieu 's philosophy origins ; Bachelard , Levi Strauss , Merleau -Ponty and Heidegger had a significant impact on Bourdieu 's ideology and theory . The second chapter analyzes several core concepts of the theory of Bourdieu sociology of education , mainly related to the field , habitus and capital . The third chapter describes Bourdieu major theoretical contributions in education , cultural reproduction theory , the theory of symbolic violence education and cultural capital theory are discussed .
