Abstract


As time passing forward, furniture field has seeking the way tofurniture design of "Chinesism" .Based on western modern design and conformed strategic design, andfrom furniture products of commercial value, this thesis putsforward the viewpoint of Chinese furniture design development ofnativism through the research into the influence of design thoughtson national culture, aesthetic orientation and consumption featureof Chinese consumers. And there are cases of furniture product andcommercial space design in this thesis on the base of viewpointabove.The only way to native furniture design is to recreate throughaccumulating design practices and critiques, and assimilating newinformation.The research on this thesis has its enlightenment for IndustryDesign career men, especially for those of furniture design. Aimingfor the benign development of Chinese design, this thesis pointsout a feasible and reasonable way to the nativism of Chinesefurniture design.
