Abstract


Bladder transitional cell carcinoma (Bladder transitional cell carcinoma, BTCC) is a common malignant tumor of the urinary system . Postoperative recurrence or metastasis is a common cause of treatment failure . Tumor occurrence and development of oncogene activation and / or tumor suppressor gene mutations, deletions are closely related. The tumor suppressor gene PTEN , called PTEN/MMAC-1/TEP-1 gene , a tumor suppressor gene was found with the Phosphatase Activity . Discovered in 1997 in the field of cancer research has been widespread concern. Angiogenesis and tumor growth and metastasis expressing tumor biological characteristics . Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is considered to be the strongest , the specificity of the regulation of angiogenesis gene product with a variety of tumors , including bladder cancer , including the occurrence and development is closely related to . Objective To investigate PTEN , VEGF in bladder tumor effects and clinical value in the development process , and analyze the intrinsic relationship between the two . Using immunohistochemical SP was observed 60 cases of bladder transitional cell carcinoma of paraffin-embedded specimens and 10 cases of cancer tissue paraffin in PTEN , VEGF expression . Results 10 cases of paraneoplastic of PTEN - positive rate of 100 % ( 10 / 10 ) , VEGF positive rate was 10% ( 1/10) . 60 cases of bladder tumors in 28 cases ( 47 % ) of PTEN expression was positive in 41 cases ( 68 % ) VEGF positive expression . Pathological grade , poorly differentiated group PTEN positive rates were 72.7% ( 16/22 ) , 40% ( 10/25) and 15.4% ( 2/13) , showing a clear downward trend , and statistically significant (p lt ; 0.01 ) ; clinical stage of PTEN expression were T A < / Sub > ~~ T 2 < / sub > 57.1 % ( 24/ 42 ) , the T 3 ~~ T 4 < / sub > 22.2 % ( 4 / 18 ) , T a T 2 < / sub > of positive rate in T 3 < / sub > ~ T 4 ( p lt ; 0.05 ) ; occurrence of lymph node metastasis of PTEN positive rate of 21.4% ( 3/14) was significantly lower than the shift group , 54.3% ( 25 /46) ( p lt ; 0.05 ) . Positive rate of VEGF expression , poorly differentiated group were 34.8 % (13 /22) , 65.4% (18/ 25 ) and 72.7 % (10 /13) ; clinical stage Ta ~ T 2 3 ~~ T 4 88.9 % (16 /18) ;
