Objective: diabetic macular edema (diabetic macular edema, DME), is one of the important reasons that cause diabetes center severely impaired vision . Treatment for macular edema , is of great significance for improving the central vision of patients with diabetic retinopathy , and improve their quality of life . Triamcinolone Snyder (Triamcinolone acetonide, TA) is a synthetic long-acting glucocorticoids , a powerful anti-inflammatory effects , non-toxic to the retina , can be used for intravitreal injection . In order to explore effective treatment for diffuse DME , we apply the TA intravitreal injection , and optical coherence tomography (optical coherence tomography, OCT), vision , multifocal electroretinography (multifocal eletroretinogram, m-ERG) and the to evaluate the therapeutic effects and complications of intraocular pressure , slit lamp ophthalmoscope . Subjects and methods : non - proliferative diabetic retinopathy in patients with diffuse macular edema 21 cases , 25 eyes, intravitreal injection the TA 4mg/0.1ml treatment . In addition to the 20 cases of normal eye examination, OCT, m-ERG as normal retinal nerve the sensory layer thickness , ERG reference value in this study .
