Objective : To observe the pedicle screw fixation of thoracolumbar fractures clinical efficacy and safety reliability. Methods: Shandong Medical University Affiliated Hospital of thoracolumbar fractures treated 31 patients , the use of posterior pedicle screw fixation methods , preoperative patient pedicle correctly analyze and grasp the physiological and pathological images school characteristics, intraoperative accurate positioning and orientation , adequate and effective spinal decompression and bone graft surgery in patients with guidance systems, comprehensive and correct functional exercise. By observing the intraoperative and postoperative complications, vertebral vertebral height restoration , Cobb angle correction, improvement of spinal stenosis and spinal nerve function recovery, self- efficacy evaluation criteria to determine efficacy . Results : 31 patients were followed up for 6-24 months , with an average follow-up 13 months , except for one patient found a vertebral pedicle screw perforation outer cortical wall and no complications occurred more than 80% of the patients efficacy was excellent, 90% of patients was excellent efficacy . Conclusion: pedicle screw fixation of thoracolumbar fractures is a safe , reliable and effective method.
