Objective To study the acting mechanism on improving symptoms of climacteric syadrome through observing the effects on reproductive endocrine , the blood fat metabolism and the organize appearance of the womb and ovary of climacteric rats of bu-shen-tiao-gan soup.Method 40 female SD rats of 11 months old (body weight 355. 55±42. 10g ) were divided randomly into four groups ( model group , high-dose treatment group , low-dose treatment group , the western medicine group ),and took 10 female SD rats of 4 months (body weight 295. 40±27. 01g ) to be the normal contrast group . Five groups were treated with correspond treatment .After 8 weeks, collect blood, separating serum, determining content of E2, FSH , LH, TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, ALT, AST, UA, CR and BUN in serum ; removing uterus and ovary , for histology examination.Result 1, the change of serum sex hormone between the natural climacterum models and the youth models :the content of serum E2, HDL-C was lower than that of the youth models; the content of serum FSH, LH and TG of the natural climacterum models was higher2, bu-shen-tiao-gan soup can raise the content of serum E2, HDL-C, lowering the content of serum FSH, lowering the content of serum TG that was better than the western medicine; high-dose of bu-shen-tiao-gan soup can lower the content of serum LH.3, bu-shen-tiao-gan soup can raise the CV of climacteric rats 4, In this experiment, the effect of high-dose treatment group was better than low-dose treatment group ,except in raising the content of serum HDL-C .It seems that the effect of bu-shen-tiao-gan soup is related to the dose. Conclusion The experiment proves that bu-shen-tiao-gan soup can raise the menopause SD rats serum E2 level effectively, lowering the content of FSHn LH, improving the ovary function; it can lower the content of TG, going up the content of HDL-C; during the experiment, the liver function and kidney function has no obvious variety; So bu-shen-tiao-gan soup can cure the climacteric syadrome availably, particularly suited for who has high-TG disease.
