Abstract


This paper aims folk art patterns of symbolic analysis to explore the unique Chinese way of thinking and expression, and thus explain the design of modern folk art inspired patterns and learn. First of all, China is a symbol of cultural richness of the country, a symbol of cultural phenomenon throughout the ancient and modern, is the most common in Chinese culture but not full attention and understand cultural phenomena . It is the expression of human mental activity and the spiritual world of a medium, is expressed by some concrete things unspeakable abstract concepts and thoughts and feelings. It is widely used in symbolic patterns of folk art has a unique mood of mystery lies. Folk art patterns as a carrier of symbolic culture , which is characterized by the use of symbols and symbolic content in certain conditions, some of the contact experience or similar , so that was a symbol of the content to be more intense , more focused manifested , and by folk customs , the way to the convention from generation to generation . In the form of refined , but the content is complex and extensive . Secondly, in the style of folk art patterns and morphology which contains the essence of the ancient culture of the Chinese nation is the mirror of history, culture and philosophy . Again, primitive folk art patterns occurred in the culture of origin , the origin of a significant cultural characteristics , with the original myth and religion are inextricably linked . Finally, the classification of folk art patterns , artistic features, ideographic methods and symbolic analysis to explore the phenomenon is not easy to be found behind the cultural intention to illustrate patterns of folk art , learning and modern design will make the re-creation filled with endless charm.
