Abstract


The vocabulary is the basis of language learning , plays a vital role in the development of language skills . The vocabulary knowledge language users language skills . Therefore , vocabulary learning is one of the important task of language learning . However, post - secondary non- English major freshmen English vocabulary learning difficult rebirth, their English vocabulary is less than normal , and the quality is not high . This specialized research, to find a solution countermeasures to improve the quality of our post-secondary non-English major freshmen English vocabulary learning . This study on the basis of the English vocabulary learning questionnaire by the English vocabulary pre-test , the college entrance examination admission score statistics , analysis of college freshmen in English vocabulary learning problems , find out the reason , to propose a solution hypotheses , paired test , post-test to verify the hypothesis of countermeasures to solve the college freshmen vocabulary learning problems . Based on experimental data obtained from the following three aspects to promote the countermeasures of college non - English major freshmen English vocabulary learning . Enhanced learning self-confidence, changing the concept of vocabulary learning . Improved vocabulary learning strategies and methods . 3 . Improve vocabulary learning environment . This article is divided into five chapters: the first chapter a brief overview of the results of the domestic and foreign vocabulary acquisition / learning research and explain vocabulary learning the meaning and the reasons for , and value .
