Abstract


EU law is a \Since the United Kingdom, Ireland joined the European Community , the common law to EU law , has brought a significant impact , the most prominent manifestations of the status and role of judicial precedent in EU law . This paper attempts to judicial precedents established two basic principles of European Union law is directly applicable and prevail , the important role of judicial precedents \an important role in the four areas in the applicable GATT and the WTO Agreement on a preliminary study of the status and role of judicial precedent in EU law . At the same time we have to maintain an important role in the EU law on judicial precedents objective cognitive judicial precedents can not avoid the limitations of the existing EU legal system , this article will correspond to the four points above the role of judicial precedent 11 limitations described.
