Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the development characteristics as well as both of the the migrant children self-consciousness and social adaptation. Research using the questionnaire method, \the ordinary junior high school of 530 students were measured, and finally the total effective test 509 people, including 209 migrant children, Qinhuangdao City, 300 local students. The conclusions of this study are as follows: (a) of the migrant children compared with the local children, and compared to the norm of Chinese urban children are obviously showed lower self-awareness; migrant children's self-awareness score no gender differences in behavior, gregarious subscale gender differences, boys scored significantly lower than girls; migrant children's self-awareness score grade differences do not exist in the day, two days, three days, three grades, behavior, anxiety subscale grade differences: early Three students' behavior subscale scores higher than the first day and the first two days, the third-year student anxiety subscale score lower than the first two days. (B) the level of social adaptation of migrant children in general lower than the local children in Qinhuangdao City, the second factor of social relations and the concept of adaptation, and included four first-order factors (ie, interpersonal coordination, people friendly, social identity and social vitality) were migrant children scored significantly lower than the local children in Qinhuangdao City; However, migrant children in the life of an independent risk factor score was significantly higher than the local children in Qinhuangdao City; no significant gender differences in the total score of the social adaptation of migrant children, the boys of second-order factor of social relations scored significantly lower than girls in the first-order factor, independent living, interpersonal coordination, social identity three factor scores are boys scored significantly lower than girls; migrant children's social adjustment there is no grade differences with the concept of adaptation. (C) the self-consciousness of migrant children can affect the level of social adaptation, has an important role in the prediction and social adaptation. Correlation analysis showed that migrant children self-consciousness total score of social adjustment scores were significantly positively correlated. Factor of self-awareness, in addition to the physical appearance and attribute factor and social adaptation score was not significantly correlated various factors (behavior, intellectual and school, anxiety, gregarious, happiness and satisfaction) and social adaptation scores were significant positive correlation, the higher the level of self-awareness of migrant children, the higher the level of social adaptation; regression analysis of the results found that both overall social adaptation, social adaptation factor, at least by the self-consciousness of the three factors to predict. Prediction of overall social adjustment factor of self-awareness, and ultimately behavior, anxiety and gregarious social adaptation predict the behavior of social adaptation, followed by anxiety, finally gregarious.
