Abstract


American writer William Faulkner is a winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1950 . \The novel has been the focus of the critic , however, most of their attention focused on the analysis of the theme of the work , performance practices, male role , while less attention to the role of women in the novel , especially the heart and soul of the novel Kay pedicle , they are either a band , or simply she is classified as a frivolous debauchery fallen woman , and few can really cut her tragic life trajectory , to dissect and experience the awakening of women against the patriarchal authoritarian by self- difficult process of reconstructing female suffering and struggling . This paper tries perception of women 's silence and the absence of a new female perspective , in order to set off the veil of male chauvinism , Lek to go to the hustle and bustle of the male hegemony , put together in the only language of a phrase from Katie's brother about Katie narrative since the image of her fragmented , dig the real reason caused by her female tragedy , to show the unremitting efforts made ??by women against gender oppression , to build female subjectivity .
