Abstract


College is an important stage in the development during the growth and success of individuals. University education is to strive students to make them meet the requirements of social development of qualified personnel. The growth of students becomes affected social progress and personal development. In recent years, with the expanding of university education, student organizations is rapidly developed, the enthusiasm of Students’participating in community is surging, college community students is becoming the first choice for their extra-curricular activities, it can be said that student organizations play an more and more important role in improving the overall quality of students, guiding students to adapt to society, promoting employment, college community culture is also increasingly becoming the important factor of affecting the growth of the university students, it can play a significant role in students’growth and success.This study from a view of theoretical point, firstly analysised the university community and cultural theory’s positive growth on the students,and then combined the relevant information surveys and interviews with empirical research on a deeper level of analysis about the role of community culture. This thesis used the theory of educational and the theory of sociology and education,through the use of literature study, survey and interviews with some teachers and students to analysis the role of the university students association culture in growth of college students. This paper discussed the meaning, history and current situation of community college students and the meaning, structure and types of college community culture, then discussed possibility of the university community cultural has an effect on the development of students, exploring and expressing the role of the culture of the university community in the process of students growth, based on it, analysising the insufficient of college community culture in the growth of students process, giving some suggestions to continuously improve and promote college community culture play a better role in the growing process of college students . In the fourth chapter of this study, describes the results of the survey in which take some of Jiangnan university students as the sample, on the base I analysised the status of the role that the university community and cultural played in the process of college students’development, and discussing the shortcomings and the reasons for the shortcomings of the role the community play in students’growth process, giving some suggestions from the practical level for contributing the college community culture much better, hoping to help improve the development process of students.
