Abstract

Of course, the convergence between the various stages of education, the convergence of junior high school and high school stage has always been the focus of attention of the majority of educators. For a long time, junior high and high school geography teaching is relatively independent, the transmission of information and feedback channels. With the new high school curriculum reform comprehensively implement the new course materials hosted non-convergence phenomenon, the students' way of thinking and intellectual development requires the span too big problems are gradually exposed. Should explore the establishment and improvement of early high school geography teaching communication and convergence process to identify and solve problems, and promote further transform and improve teachers teach and students learn. Therefore, it is very important to study how to do a good job in the teaching process of convergence and integration of the junior high school and high school. In this study, first an overview of domestic and international convergence education status quo, to define the concept of convergence of education and further pointed out that the convergence of the junior high school and high school geography teaching is to bridge the gap between junior high school geography education and high school geography education in the context of new curriculum teaching process. By analyzing the structure of the Teaching Theory, optimization theory of teaching the theory of cognitive theory, constructivist theory and knowledge that has important implications for the role of middle and high school geography teaching convergence. Secondly, this study uses the questionnaire on the implementation of some secondary schools in Urumqi, middle and high school geography Linking Teaching of information obtained data for statistical analysis, to study the current situation and existing problems. Finally, the study by Urumqi early high school geography teaching situation of linking survey analysis found the following problems: the junior geography teaching \, but the lack of real action; teachers specialized construction need to be strengthened to about one-third of the non-Normal professional school geography teacher, teaching ability and methods need to be improved, affect the convergence of teaching in secondary schools. Junior high curriculum standards require higher in low and high school students are not ready for high school students is easy to produce geographic difficult to learn, \To solve the above problem, this study suggests that: reform of the teaching system, establish better convergence platform; junior high school for students in the development of long-term planning; high school to strengthen the convergence of consciousness, and in-depth understanding of the actual situation of the students familiar with the teaching materials, curriculum standards, acquire subject knowledge systems, well-designed teaching convergence of content, and the rational use of modern information technology, attention to non-intellectual factors in student learning, guide students to select appropriate learning method; convergence period to give students a curriculum standards, teachers should study a clear course objectives, research materials convergence of content, proper handling of materials, research and teaching methods, carefully designed teaching programs, develop curriculum resources, focus on geographic learning guidance, of geography learning ability.
