Action research (action research) by participants in social situations (including the situation in education ) are engaged in social or educational practice rational knowledge to improve , in order to deepen the understanding of the background of practical activities and its dependencies conducted reflection research . Action Research is a new research paradigm, very suitable for practitioners engaged in practical research . The field of education in this regard is particularly significant. I have engaged in secondary education for almost a decade , the most headache problem is : it is necessary to solve the students do not attach importance to the biology class , but also to improve the quality of teaching . To solve this problem , I used the action research method in this field attempt , and achieved a certain effect . The entire process lasted nearly three years , I from research concepts and methods of action research to a combination of secondary school biology teaching I engaged to the application of such a combination to solve the problems mentioned before . Gradually formed where schools and taught classes : from students interested in biology ; students actively participated in the biology classroom teaching and extra-curricular activities ; → with biology , the students try to analyze some biological phenomena and try some practice study topics ; → ultimately reflected in all academic disciplines to improve the process . However , quantitative research issues have not been resolved.
