Abstract


The analysis of urban systems is a very important sphere in studying of urban geography,including“three structures and a network”namely:hierarchy scale structure spatial structure、function structure and urban network system. There are theoretical and practical studies on urban systems both domestic and abroad in abundance, among which the study and application of fractal theory on the urban Systerns is a rather representative one.Academician had sdudied on the urban system in Qinghai province,it mainly include following two aspect:one hand,at study area aspect, mainly focus on east region of Qinghai province;the other hand, at study content and method aspect, the content all the same concentrate on description of actuality character,there are few systemical sdudy on the urban system in Qinghai province. The method all the same concentrate on description of traditional qualitative analysis,few of quantitative analysis. No other than base on it,the paper sdudy systemically on the urban system in Qinghai province.In research process, the paper also attempt sdudy and analysis on the urban system in Qinghai province in fractal theory that it is a relative new and mature theory.This essay analyses and studies the urban system in Qinghai province by means of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods and by GIS technique and SPSS statistical software.The paper had sdudied on the urban system(three structures: hierarchy scale structure;spatial structure;function structure) in Qinghai province in detail: Based on the analysis of the status quo of the regional hierarchy scale structure of the urban system in Qinghai province, study the urban system in Qinghai province by Primary City Index、rank-size rule、Gini-coefficient research methods, study it between lengthways Comparison and transverse Comparison; Based on the qualitative analysis of the status quo of the regional spatial structure of the urban system in Qinghai province, there kinds of fractal dimensions were summed up to characterize spatial structure of town system in Qinghai province, which were respectively named as aggregation dimension and grid dimension and spatial correlation dimension, study it between lengthways Comparison and transverse Comparison; Firstly,basing on analysis of urban industrial structure,the author classifies the urban function of Qinghai province;Secondly,based on economic and social statistical data in 2007 in Qinghai Province,studies on urban function system in Qinghai Province by multivariate cluster,in end,the paper conclude the urban function distribution in Qinghai province. This paper takes the traffic networks of the urban system in Qinghai province as a case,The two fracta1 dimensions can be expressed as follows:1. Length—radius dimension;2.Dendrite—radius dimension. So we can know about characterize the spatial structure of traffic networks of the urban system in Qinghai province.Finally,the thesis encloses by summarizing the results of the above the urban system in Qinghai province and pointing out the orientation and emphasis of further study.
