Abstract

This thesis from the women 's quest of self as the starting point , the African American women writers Alice Walker's \parallel comparison study . Through the analysis of the awakening of the two heroines , the rebel and the pursuit of an independent process to explore the similarities and differences of the different backgrounds of the different periods under different complexion female arousal , which summed up the favorable and unfavorable factors of female arousal to look at women in a deeper level literature. The awakening of women , we should hold an optimistic attitude to the help of the same sex , especially with the help of the androgynous character female and awakening male help .
